Tripping breakers
Describe the room, the devices that were running, and how often the breaker opens. GDEC can discuss the issue and the appropriate next step. Do not open the panel or handle exposed wiring to gather more information.
Home/Breakers & Circuits
A breaker that trips again, a circuit that stops a room from working, or a home that needs a dedicated circuit is worth a conversation before anyone resets it over and over.
Greater Denver Electric Company LLC can talk through what you noticed and whether the next step is a repair, a dedicated circuit, or a closer look at the panel.

Avoid repeatedly resetting a breaker that trips again. Note what was in use when it happened, which room lost power, and whether anything changed before it started.
If there is smoke, heat, or a burning smell, keep clear and address the immediate hazard first. Contact emergency services or the utility when appropriate, then request electrical service only after the danger has been addressed.

A new appliance or piece of equipment may need its own circuit. GDEC’s residential services include dedicated circuits. The right scope depends on the property, the equipment, and the existing electrical system.
If the concern is the panel itself, or you are planning equipment that may need more capacity, the upgrades page is the place to start that conversation. An evaluation is needed before anyone decides that a panel change is appropriate.
