Fixture and switch concerns
Describe what you have noticed: a light that will not turn on, a switch that feels warm, or a fixture that flickers. GDEC can discuss the issue and the appropriate next step.
Home/Lighting
A lighting change, a fixture that needs attention, or a room that is not lighting the way you use it can be a straightforward project once the goal is clear.
GDEC’s residential service list includes lighting work. Share the room, the fixture type, and the result you want so the team can talk through the scope.

Planning a lighting change or addressing a fixture that needs attention? Share the room, the fixture type, and the intended result. If a switch, dimmer, or outlet nearby is also acting differently, mention that too.
If a fixture is hot, sparking, or smells like burning, stop using it and keep people away. In an immediate emergency, contact emergency services before arranging electrical work.

If you are changing how a room is lit, say which fixtures you have in mind and whether the work is part of a renovation. The existing wiring and the room layout guide the scope.
A lighting problem can also be a circuit or breaker issue. If other devices on the same area stop working at the same time, include that in the request so the conversation starts with the right context.
