Home/Home EV Charging
Plan a home EV charger installation
A home charging setup should fit the vehicle, charger, parking location, and electrical system at the property. Greater Denver Electric Company LLC can discuss your planned installation and the electrical work involved. Contact GDEC to confirm project availability and the equipment you have in mind.

Ask About EV Charger Installation
Start with the charging setup you want
Before selecting an installation plan, note the vehicle and charger model, where the vehicle is usually parked, and whether the charger will be inside a garage or outdoors. The distance from the electrical equipment to the charging location may also affect the project scope.
The available electrical capacity and the condition of the existing system matter too. A project discussion can help identify what needs to be reviewed before the installation scope is confirmed. Do not assume that an existing outlet or circuit is suitable for a new charger.

What to share when you request service
Include the property address, charger brand and model if known, intended mounting location, and whether the home is undergoing other electrical work. If you already own the charger, include that information. GDEC can confirm whether the request fits its current service offering and explain the next step.
